Bernie Sanders Visits Palm Springs Tonight

Democratic Presidential candidate, Senator Bernie Sanders, made a stop this evening at VillageFest in Palm Springs. An earlier press release from his campaign staff indicated it was sent from Palm Springs, but no indication was given that Sanders himself was there, nor that he would be out on Palm Canyon Drive this evening. No word if Dr. Jane Sanders was with him this evening.
Word that Sanders was enjoying VillageFest came in as The Sun Runner prepares to endorse Sanders as the most appropriate candidate for our editorial region of the California deserts and the Southwest. We wish Bernie all the best during his stay (sure to be brief) here, and we hope to catch up with him somewhere along the campaign trail before the primaries are completed in June.
Next time Senator Sanders (or President Sanders), please give us a head's up and we'll buy the first round.
