The Sun Runner

In 2012, The Sun Runner began a new adventure, producing The Real Desert, with Steve Brown, a travel series for KVCR PBS TV.  The Real Desert, with Sun Runner editor/publisher, Steve Brown as host (writer, and producer), began airing on KVCR PBS TV on September 16, 2013, and was broadcast twice a week to 5.7 million households across southern California for more than a year.

The second season saw a switch to partnering with co-producers, Turquoise MultiMedia, and a name change to Southwest Stories.  That season began broadcasting twice weekly on KVCR PBS TV on March 16, 2015, and aired through May 12, 2016.
