Desert Daze lineup proves it's no ordinary music festival

Desert Daze may have been controversial when it arrived in Joshua Tree around this time last year, but it's looking like it's a good fit for the hi-desert as the festival moves into its second year at the Joshua Tree Retreat Center/Institute of Mentalphysics. More local acts and vendors have been included, there's a host of off-beat fun things going on, and locals can get a 25 percent discount (See how HERE).

The lineup of musical acts is nothing if not eclectic. Our correspondent Cara Anderson has written about some of the lesser known but equally interesting acts on the roster HERE.

We have our interview with Desert Daze founder and producer Phil Pirrone HERE.

Watch both this website and our Joshua Tree Tortoise Telegraph site for more Desert Daze news.
