16th annual Hwy 62 Open Studio Art Tours coming this October

David Greene's "Hy-Desert Brand" art is just one side to this incredibly versatile artist featured in the 2017 Hwy 62 Open Studio Art Tours.

The premier cultural event of the hi-desert is coming this October. The Hwy 62 Open Studio Art Tours will take place over two weekends, October 14-15, and 21-22. The event is free to the public, and allows art lovers to visit the studios of hi-desert artists, meet the artists in person, enjoy their work, and purchase their art directly, at low prices (sometimes too low - we've seen gallery owners from LA purchase the entire inventory of an artist they like, with plans to re-sell it at much higher rates).

The art tours are a fun way to explore the hi-desert, and to get to know its creative and unique residents. While the website for this year's art tours isn't quite ready for visitors, we'll be posting artist profiles and art tours news from August through October, so check back often, and save the dates for the art tours this fall.
