Help Stop Vandalism in our National Parks
We're serious about reducing incidences of vandalism and theft in our national parks. Enough is enough. We've now put the contact information for the National Park Service Tipline directly on the home pages of both The Sun Runner and The Joshua Tree Tortoise Telegraph so you can get the Tipline phone number, or use the links to the online tip report or e-mail the NPS Investigative Services offices directly. We will also be including this information in every issue of both The Sun Runner and The Joshua Tree Tortoise Telegraph, as well as our Joshua Tree Gateway Communities Visitor Guide print and digital editions. We encourage you to put the National Park Service Tipline number in your cell phone so you may call them directly if you see something. Please make sure to call 911 if it is an emergency. But if not, please document any likely vandalism or theft with your camera and report it right away to any NPS ranger you may encounter and/or the NPS Tipline. Together, we can help reduce the vandalism and theft that is occurring far too frequently in our national parks. Thank you!
