Wildflowers still out on Memorial Day weekend - but not for long

Wildflowers were still out, especially in higher elevations in Joshua Tree National Park, over Memorial Day weekend. Hikes around Keys View and Johnny Lang Canyon provided glimpses of numerous varieties of wildflowers. With higher temperatures arriving, there's no time like the present to head out into the desert to catch a glimpse of these beauties before they fade away.
