While the new border wall being constructed by the Trump administration is politically contentious, there are extremely serious implications the wall creates for those who don't cast a vote in elections - the wildlife that lives or migrates across the border region.

A new video filmed in the Chihuahuan Desert area along the Rio Grande, while not in the Mojave, helps demonstrate some of the issues wildlife face with construction of a wall.

Whatever one's political affiliations and inclinations, it is important to remember that there are very real implications for wildlife caused by our political decisions.
