The California Fish and Game Commission will decide the morning of Thursday, August 20, 2020, whether or not to protect the western Joshua tree under the California Endangered Species Act. This iconic desert species is threatened by climate change and rampant development.

Local and county government, developers, and other industries opposed to protection will be out in force arguing against listing. You can have your voice heard. Join the meeting and make a public comment in support of protecting our western Joshua tree.

Sign up to join the virtual Commission meeting August 20 at 8:30 a.m. PST and urge them to list the western Joshua Tree.

The desert will thank you.
