Renewable Energy language set to go before Board of Supervisors

The long awaited opportunity for the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors to discuss and adopt language for the Renewable Energy Conservation Element section 4.10, may finally come to pass later this month. The Board of Supervisors, with new Third District Supervisor Dawn Rowe, is set to take RECE 4.10 up for consideration at their January 29 meeting.

For more information on the year-and-a-half delay in hearing the RECE language, please see our story HERE. The Board of Supervisors postponed their hearing on the matter when then-supervisor James Ramos did not attend their meeting on election day in November. It was then decided to postpone the matter until a new Third District supervisor had been appointed.

The public is encouraged to make their voices heard on this matter during public comment period for this meeting. Those who cannot make the journey to San Bernardino may comment from the county offices in Joshua Tree and Hesperia via live video connections.
