The National Parks Conservation Association is asking the American public to stand up to moves by the current administration to weaken the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). NEPA is one of the foundational environmental laws that ensures the public has an opportunity to voice their concerns and opinions on projects on federal lands.

NEPA requires governmental agencies to prioritize public health and the environment above financial gains prior to permitting projects that have been proposed for construction on federal lands. NEPA helps ensure that not only is the environment protected, but the communities near proposed projects.

If you'd like to voice your support for leaving NEPA alone, click HERE.
